ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE WANTED Construction Industry Billing Associate We are looking for the right person to fill an accounting department opening. This is a great opportunity for a customer-oriented individual with a great work ethic. Come join our Team! This position performs routine accounting, clerical, data entry, research, and reporting duties to ensure accurate processing of billing, payments and financial statements. Essential Job Functions Include: • Prepare AIA billing documents including releases and backup per customer request • Invoicing and accounts receivable reconciliation • Weekly, Month end, Quarterly and Year-end reports • Communicate with client regarding billing documents and payments • Prepare, deposit and post daily bank transactions, both EFT and cash • Establish control documents for use in reconciling job costs, payable and receivable transactions • Job cost analysis and audits, including financial close-out of projects • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications; ERP accounting software preferred Bachelor’s Degree preferred but an Associate’s Degree with a major in accounting and a minimum of three (3) years of proven billing experience is required; knowledge of construction industry billing preferred.
